Celia on Teaching & Practice
I teach yoga as a grounded, living practice — one rooted in intuition, ritual, mythology, and embodied experience.
My teaching is influenced by traditional yoga philosophy, symbolism, meditation, and movement, while remaining deeply connected to the human experience of being in a body. I’m drawn to the stories and archetypes woven throughout yoga and astrology, not as performance or escapism, but as tools for self-understanding and presence.
I believe practice should cultivate awareness rather than perfection. Some days it’s strong and challenging; others it’s slow, devotional, and inward. My classes encourage students to listen closely, move intuitively, and develop a relationship with their own practice that feels honest and sustainable.
I’m not interested in hierarchy or becoming anyone’s guru. I’m interested in creating space for people to explore movement, ritual, breath, and self-inquiry in a way that feels grounded, thoughtful, and real.
